MOAN Zine is an independent erotic publication designed, published and owned by Aikaterini Paraskevopoulou, co-founder and Creative Director of Ation Studio, created as a response to the stigma and taboo surrounding sexuality, pleasure and bodily autonomy. Conceived as both a creative platform and a form of quiet activism, the publication challenges the shame historically attached to sex by creating an open, inclusive space that centres the voices and experiences of women and non-binary individuals. Written with the intimacy of a shared diary and shaped by diverse artistic voices, MOAN celebrates sexual autonomy while confronting social taboos around pleasure and identity. Distributed and sold globally, the publication extends beyond the page through print, events and exhibitions, creating spaces for open dialogue and artistic collaboration.
